(I Used to Be) Clueless
The Skills You Need to Live a Joyful, God-Honoring Life
I believe God created us all for a unique purpose. When we’re living out that purpose, two things will happen: We will experience joy, and our lives will honor Him. That’s what Jesus was talking about when He promised us “life more abundant” (John 10:10).
I wrote this book to help you acquire the skills you need for a joyful, God-honoring life. Maybe I can save you some of the clueless mistakes I’ve made along the way.
There are twelve weeks of devotional readings here, six readings per week. Each week covers one of twelve skills that you need to overcome our inherent cluelessness. We’ll talk about how to:
Find God’s purpose for our life
Make good decisions
Pray in a way that really changes things
Hear God’s voice
Be part of God’s work on earth
Have healthy relationships with the opposite sex
Make good friends and avoid loneliness
Deal with mean people
Face life’s storms
Use money and resources in righteous ways
Overcome our nagging fears and doubts
Be confident and excited about your ultimate future
My hope is that as we conform our lives to God's will, we can all say, "I used to be clueless."
